Been lurking around this forum a while and thought I'd join. Seems like a lot of great people. I especially like that it's MN based and multi-topic, (hunting, hand guns, shooting)
I'm retired, have my carry permit and do a lot of huntin' n fishin' n shootin'

The USS Independence, a fine ship. Were you stationed on CVL-22 or the new LCS-2?

By the time I got to her, she was CV-62 (I believe they dropped the 'A' some time in the late 60's or early 70's). Spent just under 3 1/2 years on her.
