Hey just saw this site a few days ago when I was searching for red dawn and I never knew MN had something like this. Thought I should probablly join up and introduce. In mankato. Looking at getting an M1A and/or SVD "not psl". Recently bought first handgun, XD9. Love the magazine Guns & Ammo. And, prefer wood over synthetic. That's about it, so hi.

Did you like the red dawn remake? Once I heard they were digitally altering the nemy from the chinese to north Koreans so they wouldnt offend our debtors, I decided it would be not worth my time.

I heard they don't want to offend a large overseas market that pays cash to see movies we make. I am fine with it if it is to sell more tickets.

I thought the remake was pretty good. I couldn't notice the digital alterations, although I was weary about that too. Definitly not as much sentamental value/nostalgia as 80's version though.It felt a little under budgeted and they storyline was similay but a little cheesy. Overall, 7.5/10
