I just applied for my permit to carry and have been reading up on conceal and carry techniques and tips....I was pleasantly surprised at the amount and quality of information in this forum and being a region-based forum makes it all the more invaluable as a resource.

We shoot IDPA matches near Mankato, Mondays and IDPA matches Wednesdays, Faribault (starts in a couple months). Come and watch to see if you would be interested.

Ditch the smithy, and buy a glock 1911. I hear they are the best.
