And me as well. Several musicians on this site! I've got a couple of Les Pauls too, though no gold tops. Is that a hollowbody LP or something like an ES-137? My favorite is my '57 Black Beauty reissue, which sounds amazing through my vintage '67 Plexi. Welcome to the forum!

It's a Gibson es-295. I no longer have it, but my main box for many years was a 71 deluxe goldtop.
I'm pretty much a Fender guy now, but also am big into mandolin.

67 plexi? wooohooo!

I'm a Fender guy too, but you've got to have a few Gibsons in your collection, know what I mean? 60s Fenders are as much fun to collect as guns, and they have as many small details to obsess over as M1 Carbines, so that's probably why I gravitated toward them.

My Plexi was owned by Jeff Beck, and used to record the "Truth" album. I pretty much discounted that rumor for a couple of years until I ran into absolute proof that it was true. It's kind of nice to have something with an actual provenance! The only other thing I have with any sort of paperwork is a Japanese Type 97 sniper rifle with bring-back papers from Guadalcanal. If you haven't already, I'm sure you'll figure out that gun collecting and music gear collecting are birds of a feather!
