Hi from Minnetonka

Hello all,

I'm a long-time lurker and decided finally to join the club. Thank you guys for making carrying possible in Minnesota. I immigrated from California some ten years ago, and I've been carrying here for a couple of years. I did my time in the military, and I've been carrying on and off ever since. I was involved in the IPSC about 20 years, but now I mostly shoot with my wife and children.

Great to have you onboard, Timgun. Hoping that you will find this place a great place to get involved and we will hear much from you in coming days! I would encourage you to get involved in some of the many activities that the forum is involved in. Seeing that you are out west, the first thing I would think of are the steel shoots! I joined the Marines. My children joined the Navy, Army and US Air Force; so when the need arises, we badmouth the CG.

Thank you for your service and well, there were a lot of people that were responsible for the MCPPA - and I was not one of them - there are others out there that can get the pat on the back for it .

You are going to find a lot of really good people here and I would suggest that you attend the social gatherings - really good folks.

user842, We all serve the greatest country in the world in one way or another. My fourth son was with the CAP, but that does not really count, does it?

Pinnacle, I'm certain there were numerous people involved getting the carry permit issue passed; some leaders and the rest necessary troops. Without you all MN carry permit would not exist. From one crusader infidel to another, we are the people - all of us. Thanks for the warm welcome and invitation.
