Thanks for the great resource. Just picked-up my first handgun this week with a lot of research and several rentals at Bill's. Went with a M&P9C and so far so good.

Welcome from Mankato. I bought my only handgun, a Glock 30, from Bills in Lillydale I think? Maybe fifteen years ago. I'm not sure if that one's still there. I do get to Robbinsdale once in awhile still for some range time, though not often.

Welcome and where are you located, rural or the unforgiving metro? ;)

Saint Paul, so it's a little bit of a trip to hit the range.

Thanks. I was strongly debating a Glock 19 (and still would not mind having one.)
From what I understand Lilydale was the original location. No more Lilydale, (or Bill for that matter) now Robbinsdale, Circle Pines and soon Hudson, WI.

I still remember going to that Lillydale store. I visited probably a half-dozen times before settling on my Glock 30. Nearly bought a Desert Eagle but I also bought 3,000 rounds to go with it so ending up spending some dough at the time. I remember the place was filled with old guys every time I went there, and a large dog in back. Doberman, IIRC. Cool dog.
