Hello all,

Read posts from time to time. Figured it’s time to join. In southern suburbs. Rocking a M&P 2.0 40. Also just got a Remington 870 super mag. Going to take my chances at hunting this spring.

Grew up in WI. Been in the cities for 12 years. Hoping I can add some different perspective on here as I’m a liberal gun owner.

Lucky I can make my own choices. I don’t following what news stations or 45 says. . I don’t come here for support of anything. I’m here for gun related things, not politics. People have different views and that’s a very good thing. Everyone has something to add. We all want to be successful and happy.

Though you do realize that the right to own guns is under attack by the left, so hard to be into guns in any way and not be political.

Agree to disagree. We could go back and forth all day on the scary people trying to take guns away. However, I am here to learn more about the guns I own or may want to own some day. Also some hunting stuff as I have not done it in many years.

I am very confident that people I vote for are not trying to take my guns away.

It would be fun to know more about the mind of a liberal gun owner in a different thread if you so choose. This is assuming you mean modern liberal and not classical.

Welcome. As the resident libertarian, conservative never-trumper, I can tell you this is a good place and you are absolutely welcome to share your opinions. But yeah, there’s not many people here who are even middle of the roaders, much less liberal. As a libertarian, I’m one of the more middle of the roaders here. Share your opinions and have a thick skin. You’ll be fine. I look forward to your contributions.

Oh, and don’t sweat H&H....he’s always jockeying for the curmudgeon of the year trophy. He stands a good chance to get it this year too since another guy ran off into hibernation in Idaho. Lol
