n3bie on the forum, but not to most other places on the Intarwebs.

I've been on Free Republic, ARFCOM, THR, etc... since last Century. ;-) Yeah... I'm THAT Dead Corpse.

Trying to get involved a bit more in the local "gun culture", as John Ross described us.

All due respect..... isn't the phrase "dead corpse" a bit redundant?

Actually, it's archaically accurate. It wasn't until the 20th century that a "corpse"/"corpus" took on the strict connotation of said "body" being "dead" or at least formally living.

And yes, I've heard this one before. I've been using variations of it as a screen name since 1992 dialing into BBS systems and later on... Usenet.

Ahhhh, the good old BBS system. 2 1/2 hours to download a 4 page text document. Back when a 25 mb hard drive was considered to be HUGE "you will never fill this hard drive" said the salesman, "and it doesn't get better than VGA".
