Hi there -- Bryan here, moved here in 2005 from Massachusetts (shudder) and am just getting back into shooting again.

Just did my multi-state carry course earlier today at Bill's in Circle Pines - have enjoyed shooting over the last few weeks. Perhaps a new handgun soon, we'll see ;)

In any event, looking forward to getting to know all of you better -

Welcome to the board. Second Saturday breakfast in Maplewood and steel shoots are two great events that we run every month.

I lived in Quincy, MA for two years and then bought a home and moved down to Taunton, MA for almost six.

Wonderful places both - each had chiefs that wouldn't issue Class A Licenses to Carry, so my Glock 19 wasn't welcome in either town (legally, anyways). I eventually got to know the Chief in Taunton, who then signed my permit application.

Interesting state - enjoyed my time here - but like it here better ;)

was born there, spent time in Gardner, brockton (now a regulation third world hell hole) and a lot of time on the Cape,

We had bad luck with guns there, long story.

I know about Brockton ;-) Looked at a house there, short visit.

And yeah - the gun laws, Chapter 180 was my enemy. I note that GOAL is finally trying to reform them - we'll see if that gains any ground or not.
