Full Disclosure: I also teach the MCPPA class.

Many instructors in the area have had discussions with "Plain Cents" students only to find that what we consider to be required material in the class is covered with a very light overview or not at all. I think I speak for a large number of instructors (correct me if I'm wrong, I know you will any way) when I say I have a hard time covering the information you need to know about a possible DGU and more importantly the aftermath in 6 to 7 hours. There is simply too many decisions that must be made before you start to carry so that you don't screw up in that (according to Gary Kleck) 1:200 per year chance you will be involved in a DGU. These decisions will affect how you will deal with police, lawyer, doctor, minister, counselors, family, friends and the press. So, I suggest you read a lot and ask questions to ensure you have the information you need, just in case the worst happens.

BTW, how's your shooting under stress.....
Jump in and join us at a steel shoot in Hutchinson on the 16th, nothing difficult, just a shoot fast and don't miss kind of thing, check the other events forum, for more info and ask anyone Steel Shoots are fun.

Good Luck
