Fully Converted

Postby Tickledpink on Tue Apr 13, 2010 2:17 pm

I have to admit, I believe I have officially drank the "kool-aid" and am now converted. After a nice little range trip with Strad this Sunday I did some more shooting, first the 625 revolver and then the S & W 40. I am fully in love with the revolver. It makes me all tingle in all the right places (my hands and arms) . The .40 is ok, but I love me that revolver. Congratulations, you have successfully converted another.

How dare you clarify, so as to keep this thread from going in the gutter. :gun: :type: :bravo:

Ok all kidding aside. Glad to hear it. So now, to let us all live vicariously through your pending firearm purchase as is common courtesy...

Whats on top of the shopping list? Now or in the future.

Might I suggest a S&W in 45 Colt? Then your gun will be bigger than Strad's. ;)

Yep, that's just what a girl want's....a gun bigger than her SO's.

I am not sure what is first on the purchase list. I have to start saving my pennies. Unless, of course that dear SO of mine wants to give me a really nice present (hint hint Strad). You don't even have to buy one, you already have one that I like. Easy shopping.

Well, two things that are tough to get Strad to part with:

1. Bacon
2. A gun that he likes.

Maybe if you took a sharpie and wrote "GLOCK" on the side, then Strad would just give it over ;) 8-)

Now now, lets not get ahead of ourselves. I never said I was any good.
Besides, I am a big chicken and don't want to embarrass myself in front of all you fine people.

I will be there on Saturday but no shooting for me. Maybe by the end of the summer.

Bring the gun and have a go at the steel, if you don't you'll be another month older when you do...

Nice choice on the gun.

Shoot on Saturday.

Bensmom will be shooting her first steel, so you won't be the only newb.

ETA: Hammar, that might be the sexiest car I've ever seen. If you have one, I'll trade you Ben and some 380 ammo for it.

My Brother In Law will be coming and he has limited handgun experience.
My Friend is coming and this is his second steel shoot.

There are a lot of people who go to the steel shoots who aren't any good. It's definitely weighted toward the beginner/intermediate range, with a couple of people who are at the top every month. I've seen new shooters place north of the bottom many times. You'd have a good time!
