What kind and size of gun should I carry??

Great discussion. I've seen both ends of this.

I once took my boss to the range. She had done some shooting with boyfriends in the past but hadn't shot in years. I brought several handguns ranging from a .22lr revolver to a 1911 Officer .45acp. She tried everything then only wanted to shoot the .45. She didn't like the .22 at all, too wimpy. She is/was a small gal too.

I occasionally take my wife to the range. She likes the .22lr, thinks that a 9mm is a little much, and does not like a .45acp. Everyone is different, woman and men. But for a man to think that a woman can't handle a big gun is just wrong.

As for the guys who think it's funny to have their gal on video shooting a 500 without proper training, they should have a sleeve of softballs shoved up their rear and pulled out. It'll be as close as they'll get to childbirth, something that gal probably has or will do.
