Just joined on Feb. 7th, 2012--and wanted to say Hi to The Powder Room.

I got interested in shooting about 2 years ago and have since then purchased a Ruger SR9C,
a Kahr PM9, a Sig Mosquito .22 which is fun and cheap to shoot. Today bought a Ruger LC9.

Thinking of getting a Crimson Trace Laser for either the PM9 or the LC9.

HI All!

My name is Stacy and I am in Apple Valley. My husband gave me a Ruger SR9C for my birthday in Oct and created a monster! I had been shooting with him and loved it, but it was not until I had my own gun that I really became comfortable and developed the bug. I now have a Ruger Speed Six .357, a Ruger P90 .9mm and two .22s to keep the cost down. I am also getting the black rifle disease after out shooting my husband with his AR-15 and want one really bad!

I am on here to hopefully meet new friends that share this love of mine and hopefully find some range partners! BTW I have a season pass to the Burnsville Pistol Range and shoot for free anytime and can bring a friend. NO GUN LIMITS! Hahaha bribery

PS anyone know of a local women's shooting league??

I don't know if there are any women's only shooting leagues around, Bill's in Robbinsdale has a ladies night every other Wed???
I've been to that a couple of time, has been fun to see the gals out.
I mostly shoot at Oakdale, with a smattering of Bill's in the winter time.

I wonder why the Mrs. has posted 3000 balls posts, and about 5 million basement posts, but never made the powder room introduction. That I ever saw anyway.

My name is Kayla, I am currently new to the site but I have been browsing on here for months. I was raised on a farm and grew up hunting. I became a mother on 2/2/2012. I recently got into handguns with my boyfriend (springfield1911) about 3 years ago. I love the big boy guns like glock 27 40.cal. I enjoy going out shooting on my spare time. I am thinking about going in April to get my permit to carry.
