Star and Tribune Article...

Postby gyrfalcon on Mon Feb 21, 2011 8:25 am

So did I miss the posting, or did a few of the female forum members here get their pictures in the Star and Tribunes variety section last Sunday?

Noticed my mom reading the article last weekend.

Ironically, it's usually the same people that claim guns are inherently dangerous.

If you can't point a weapon at someone how are you going to defend yourself................... :?

Besides, the environment when/where that picture was taken was an extremely controlled situation classroom...... :hmm:

It's been a while since I've been there, have they done some work to the range at Bill's? Last time I was there it was kinda dark and dingy.

I noticed that she was one of the instructors too. I'm surprised this hadn't been posted earlier I thought I might have missed it.

The one photo of the gal shooting was at the "in-range systems" trailer.

More women are buying guns and enrolling in firearm training classes -- good for gun sellers but a cause for concern among gun-control advocates.

These bastards just can't resist throwing cold water on what should be a fun, interesting and informative article by mentioning how some people are concerned with this growing menace of women and guns.

You have to consider the source - the Star and Sickle. An editor would likely be fired if they didn't include a 'disclaimer' on such a non-liberal piece as this one. And I wonder if the intrepid reporter didn't get a stern talking-to anyway. You know that it would have been a non-article if it had been guys at the range.
