Holsters

Postby whysperwynd on Sun Feb 26, 2012 6:10 pm

Hello all, I am fairly new to the forum and need some help. I am needing some suggestions on a conceal holster for the CW9 that my husband is buying me for my birthday. I do not tend to wear belts as being slightly over weight they dig into my stomach, I do not carry a purse as I am a truck driver and it is one less thing to worry about. I have a shoulder rig for my M&P that I carry now but that is not practical for the summer months. Can anyone give my some suggestions. Hubby and I are looking to go to the Wells gun show and while there try some different holsters for me and want to make sure I find one that is comfortable. I almost forgot due to a shoulder injury I have to carry right behind my hip bone for an easy draw. I know that I have limited my options but am willing to try anything including belt suggestions.

Thank you for any help you can give me.
When asked why I carry a gun I reply "because a cops to heavy"

Iwb sounds like the way to go, maybe something with a clip that goes over the waistband?

Crossbreed.com has some great holsters.

This. Give it a try. My wife is thrilled at the prospect of being able to carry her Karh CW45 in a skirt, and this holster makes it a reality. For $25, it's worth the gamble

Welcome! My summer carry is a LCP in a pocket holster(Uncle Mikes) that fits into my shorts pocket.
Cargo shorts with side pockets make it very comfortable.

I second the Superfly. I didn't think it was all that it claimed to be until I saw it in person and tried it out. Now I own 2. I don't use them, but if I wanted to pocket carry, they are perfect for various pockets.

Mrs. C. has a CW9 that goes well in a Galco King Tuk with the c-clips on a sturdy pair of jeans with no belt.
