here are some better pics. at first inspection, the rail does not appear to come off with hand pressure - nor would i expect it too... the mounting pins appear to be peened over on the inside of the frame. i duno, i could be wrong. either way, a few minutes with a dremel or a fine drill and a little patience appears that it would remove it if you wished.
about 47 hours to go. i tagged this to end Tuesday at 7pm. Highest price on the last PM or post time stamped BEFORE 7 pm wins. i'm going by the site time stamp on the recieved message OR POST INT HE THREAD, i have no pony in this race, only an interest in getting as much green as we can for kids in need. i will make every effort to be in front of my computer for the last hour of the auction if PM's are coming in to post up in the thread -
but remember, this is the interweb, this isn't e-bay AND there is a lag so don't send me a PM at 6:59 on your computer clock and complain to me later that you didn't get in your offer because it showed up in my inbox until 7:02 time on the site. if you're that worried about it, there is no reason you can't simply post it up on the site.
OR
you can just bid $100,000 now and see if that offer will stand - i'm cool with either option

also - as a bonus - here's a picture of the ultra spooky and awesomely carved pumpkins the wife and i made for halloween. you can tell, we were art majors
