We have a lovely Marlin 15YN (youth) .22lr and .22 short Single shot rifle up for auction to the highest bidder.
This gun was purchased for my step-son, but he never took a shine to it and hasn't ever fired it so it never acquired any sentimental value to him. I happen to love this thing as it's got the micro groove barrel and drives tacks! Many a Commie treerat (sorry Bob) aka: red/pine squirrel, and chipmunks have lost their lives to this gun. I will be sad to see it go, but Vinnie's vision is far more important to me; besides it's not like I don't have other .22lr options. Time to let someone else nurture the shooting sports with their youngster(s) with it, or keep it for themselves.

It has the adjustable sights, and also has Marlin's goofy dovetail scope mounting grooves. This is not standard Weaver or Picatinny - just a heads up if you're thinking of making a highly portable rodent sniper rifle. Stock is Birch as best I can tell, and this is a fine example of a well-made "not walnut" piece of furniture. It does have some scuffs, but nothing glaring; it's not new but certainly nowhere near truck gun beater status.
Located in Fridley but again willing to meet within reason, will need to see a DL and will complete bill of sale if buyer needs one. No felons, etc.

Lexi's still getting used to him, but I think she misses unhindered access to my lap since he's usually hogging it.

This auction has a reserve of $100 (I paid $130). Ends 6-12-18 at 23:59hrs.
