Yes Sunday the first. My apologies for the error, it's been a chaotic couple of weeks at home.

I will run this until 8 PM on Sunday, October 3rd.

October 3rd isn't Sunday, I assume that should be the 1st?

I would think so, he was going to run it for a week I believe.

Have a great day folks !

Come on guys peel open them wallets, it's for a good cause and some sweet AR-15 goodies !

I've sold anything worth anything I had and still $800 short of the $1350 needed for the lesser surgery.

Thank you,

Jim

the issue is you have a bunch of stuff bundled together that aren't necessarily related and by bidding on the entire lot, you would be over paying for the few items you want and then stuck with a bunch of stuff you don't want. You would have had better luck breaking these down into individual lots. It would appear that I'm not the only one who has that view - maybe I'm wrong.

Good luck with the auction - I wish you well.

How does extra goodies hurt, if you don't want them, don't take them, the extras were never part of the price, they are freebies donated by others trying to help.

How do the extras hurt?????????????????

IE for me only the primers would mean anything at all so I'm not paying $400 for a box of primers.

1) a 50 Round Box of American Eagle (Federal) .38 Special 130 gr FMJ DO NOT OWN A 38
2) 500 Pieces of .40 S&W Brass (mixed headstamp) for reloading. They have been fully processed, including Decap, Resize, Wet Tumbled, then ran through a debulger, just in case they were shot in a Glock type, unsupported chamber. These are ready to prime, and load. They look like new brass, after the Wet Tumble. DO NOT OWN A 40
3) 100 rounds of 223 HAVE THOUSANDS
4) seven Pmag dust covers in black and two ar-15 birdcage flash hiders w/ washers COULD GIVE SOME OF THOSE MYSELF
5) a brick of CCI primers I'll add - winner's choice of large pistol, small pistol or small rifle. DON'T NEED ANY BUT AT LEAST SOMETHING I CAN USE,
6) I'll add a case of 20ga ammo. Fiocchi 20 ga 2 3/4 Game & Target 7/8ox lead shot 7.5 do not own a 20 guage
HAVE 4 AR'S AND NOT BUILDING ANY MORE

Again, they're just extras offered by folks trying to help, your bidding on the receiver set.

8-)

EDIT: If I'm speaking out of line, I am sorry as I was assuming that's how the extras work as that was my intention for my items and shouldn't speak for the others that offered up what they could.

My mind has been on overdrive for 2 months now and just so tired and feeling hopeless dealing with this and everything else right now.

Sorry.

I think the point everyone is trying to make is that if a person isn't interested in the "extras", they're not going to increase their bid beyond what they would have bid for the receiver set. If everything were to broken up into separate lots, you would likely get more action. IIRC, the current bid for the receiver set is $350. It probably would have fetched that without the extras. If offered separately, the extras would likely have brought in...

  • 50 round box of .38 spl -- $15
  • 500 pcs of .40 S&W brass -- $15
  • 100 rounds of .223 -- $20
  • Pmag dust covers and flash hiders -- $????
  • Brick of CCI primers -- $25
  • Case of 20ga shells -- $50

At the prices I listed, that's an additional $125 (plus whatever the dust covers would have brought), and that's assuming people wouldn't have opened their hearts and wallets a little further to help you out. Hell, for that matter, it's quite likely there may be one or two people out there who would have considered donating additional items if they would have been auctioned off separately (I, for one, have a spare PSA AR-15 lower that's currently gathering dust - lumped in with the matched receivers, it wouldn't bring anything extra, but on its own, it would probably fetch $30-40, maybe more.)

^ This..............I too would bid on the set for the AR, but I don't need or want the other stuff....
Heck, I would donate a couple of additional items, but I am not going to just give them away and it would not benefit you in any way if I did....

:hmm:

I think people were just trying to be generous by adding more to the pool. I think if it is OK with the high bidder, we can probably whittle this down into separate items And focus on the receiver set and other AR related items for this auction.

Agreed and sorry if I misspoke earlier, just wanted to help with the only ar stuff I have left, was not trying to complicate things, just want to get my best friend healthy again and end this misery.

I am going to check in to pet insurance as well as I do not want to go through this again.

Thanks to all who are involved, it gives me hope for a happy ending.

Come on guys, I really need someone to shine right now in this dark time of our lives.

If I could, I'd sell a slice of my liver to get this done, seriously.

Thank you and bless you all.
