How many are actually buying suppressors?

Never showed up, who cashed the check? Hopefully you can track your $200.

That royally sucks, and I completely empathize and sympathize with you. USPS is putting tracking numbers on Priority Mail and a few other classes - any chance you still have the receipt? The tracking number should be on there.

yeah, I talk to them pretty often.

my brother and I both filled out paper work out at the same shop days apart. his stamps are in, and mine never showed up. that's when I called.

Talked to Dakota Silencers at the Wells Gun Show today, they seem to do it all for a buyer, but I am concerned. Yes, I saw the other link here which kinda died, maybe because the trust stuff was not an issue when supplied through Dakota Arms, or is it?

Trust or individual sale should be the same and even small dealers do everything but the actual trust if that's how you decide to go.

You should be able to see your check cashed shortly after the paperwork is sent in. The gov doesn't wait to do any work before taking your money.

yeah, wish I would have known that at the time.

I was just figuring they were going to cash it after I was approved.

A friend lost his long held FFL because the ATF claimed they didn't receive his renewal fee. I'd say anything you send to ATF should be at least certified mail and better yet get a return receipt. They probably have some employees that just randomly pitch stuff.

this is just hearsay, but I talked to a guy the other day, and he was telling me about a guy who used to work for the ATF. I guess whenever he got backed up, he'd just start tossing applications in the trash. he got caught, but never got fired.
