Jam nuts and crush washers

I came across some videos of baffle strikes on YouTube. Now I am acquainted with rocksett and no on crush washers and jam nuts.

So, what's your experience with these? I will follow the instructions that come with the muzzle devices as always. But, I would like yo hear about the practical experiences.

Jam nuts and crush washers are fine for muzzle devises that will NOT be used with a suppressor. If you are using a suppressor you need to use a set of shims. This ensures the suppressor is aligned with the bore.

I have never had a baffle strike, but I use shims or nothing at all.

Yes, and as far as all my saker muzzle brakes the shims have always come with them. I'd hope all manufacturers do this. Takes a bit of playing around until you get the timing correct but no baffle strikes so far.
