Best Host Centerfire Pistol

I have a SilencerCo Osprey silencer that is awaiting it's tax stamp, but don't have a centerfire pistol with a threaded barrel.
I'm thinking that a 1911 is not what I want to put this silencer on, but perhaps a Sig p220 or Sig p227?
What are MNGuntalk users host guns? Do some guns run Nielsen devices better than others?

I tried Sig p227 suppressed last year during a Sig event and it was really nice.
Curious, why not a 1911?

I use mine on a Colt 1911 and an XDm 40.

The FN FNX-45 Tactical and H&K HK45 Tactical would both do well with that suppressor

I'm planning a G19. Going to buy a drop in threaded barrel, probably Lone Wolf. They've fit well for me
