Installing Warcomp muzzle brake for supressor

Never changed one out before so asking for a little help. Before putting the stuff on threads, do you install with the shims to insure its lined up right, then remove, put the stuff on the threads, then install?

Are you referring to putting the Loctite on the threads? If this is what you're referring to, I'd fit the brake and shims to assure proper clocking, then remove, clean threads put shims back then apply Loctite and reinstall brake.

Depends on IF your muzzle break device and suppressor requires timing. Did the break come with a crush washer and/or shim?
UPDATE: Finally found a site that describes this damned thing - apparently - Surefire includes 4 "red" shims, several no color shims, and a green shim

This might help you with the process...........

You should use rocksett instead of locktite. You can buy small tubes at Atomic Tactical.

I ordered rocksett. Arrived today. Thanks for the video. Kind of figured on the pre install to insure everything lines up. Figure I would ask since I have never done this before. Thanks folks.

Showing a picture of where I have it lined up. Am a twat hair off. Did not put rockset on as this is to see if I have the right shims. Close enough or go back and try different shims? That dot should be lined up with bottom of gas block screws.

I got it lined up so it's installed. Directions on the bottle were not clear on the amount so I covered all the threads. Will let it sit a week before heading to the range to test fire.
