Well, since Captain Buzzkill doesn't want us to have any fun today.... :sigh: :roll: I may as well try to drag this somewhat back on topic. I'm pretty much sold on the savage rifle, mainly due to the Accutrigger. I was actually looking at this one a bit. (they make it in 4+ calibers)

Gee, only $2000. And after manufacturers recommended the recall of all semi-autos in this caliber due to safety concerns........

I think you just want it cuz that gun looks wicked-cool. There's just not much a guy needs a 17 for. Between 22lr and .223, everything is covered.
