Yeah I actually went Saturday morning. So heres the run down... First mag loaded shot about 15 rounds with NO issues, then it started not feeding the next round. Then I took the bolt out and cleaned it and re oiled it, and ran a bore snake through it. Re-loaded a mag and it shot fine for about 10 rounds then started not feeding again, I then ran through the exact same thing as before and it did the same thing over and over. I tried some other mags and it made no difference. It shot fine, but just wouldnt chamber another round after it kicked out the case from the shot round... So after a good cleaning and oiling it defniately shot better, just not 100% yet. Hopefully I'll make it to Bills this week sometime and go from there.

This really sounds ammo related. Did you try a couple different types of ammo? Maybe the pmc you have is just a weak lot, failing to push the bolt far enough back to strip a new round off of the magazine.

RDWheeler, no offense intended, but... you should not have headed back out to the range without another brand or two or three of ammo. You are wasting your time. If you were at Bills or someplace that they sell ammo, you should have bought some when you were there the first time.

Question the ammo as much as anything else until you try multiple brands.

Try cleaning your gas tube as well. Could be all cruded up in there. It is definatly and ammo thing, I think anyway.

Have you gotten together with Gecko? He seems to be trying really hard to make this right for you.

Also, sounds like it short stroking. Could be an ammo or gas tube issue. Most likely ammo.
If you're reading this, there are better than even odds you are a d-bag.

At this point it seems that the likely cause/causes might be:

1) Gas port in gas block is not properly aligned with gas port in barrel.
2) Gas block or gas tube is partially plugged (as mentioned earlier by other guys).
3) Gas rings misaligned.
4) Excessive friction between bolt and inside of bolt carrier.
5) Excessive friction between bolt carrier and inside of upper receiver.
6) Bolt carrier possibly rubbing on magazine feed lips.
7) Although several mags were involved, there could still be magazine related problems if they were all from the same maker.

At least there is a positive side to all this -- you are learning a lot about the AR15 and it's nuances.
Good luck.
