DPMS AR Not firing... Bought from board

Make sure when you insert the mag, use the "beercan" grip and inserted firmly and give it a tug down to make sure it is seated properly, DO NOT slap the bottom of the mag like you would see in the movies, but yes mags, ammo, cleaning will take care of majority of jamming issues

Thats actually what my buddy said also, and I am gonna find some other ammo and buy a few boxes and also I am gonna try a new Pmag with them also.

RDWheeler, no offense intended, but... you should not have headed back out to the range without another brand or two or three of ammo. You are wasting your time. If you were at Bills or someplace that they sell ammo, you should have bought some when you were there the first time.

Question the ammo as much as anything else until you try multiple brands.

Well this is my first AR and I was told to shoot Brass, and did not think it could be ammo related. I have learned a TON in the last 2 weeks about these guns, and definately should have had more ammo with me. I will be getting some today and hope to make it to Bills in Robbinsdale tomorrow if I am off work.

Just out of curiosity, do you have gas blow-by residue under the foregrip by the front sight post where the gas tube starts out?

No reason in the world why a rifle with a carbine buffer, standard spring and functional gas system wouldn't function normally with PMC Bronze.

It's one of those "out of spec" magwells I keep hearing about, just ask the delta force operator above, he will tell you all about it.

I just had cleaned all of it, but don't remember much residue...

Check alignment/staking of bolt carrier key, possible to cause enough pressure variance to cause misfeeds.
