My $250 Browning BPS

Postby Rusty on Wed Apr 20, 2011 6:58 pm

I was offered this beautiful BPS last Friday for $250. It has a 28" ported barrel, 3.5" chamber, and came with 5 browning choke tubes. I think this is one of the best purchases I've made, should be a great replacement for my B2000 in the goose blind.

I know! I walked into my local gun shop and the owner hands it to me and says "look what I just paid $250 for", I say "I gotta have it, how much" and he says "for you, $250"!

Nice! I have the same gun, but with the 3" chamber. It's nice, but be sure not to short-pump it. Tends to jam when I do that (fails to eject before the next round is loaded). Then again, I'm kind of a wuss and limp-wrist AKs as well, so take that for what it's worth.
To the two forum members who have used lines from my posts as their signatures, can't you quote Jesse Ventura or some other great Minnesotan instead of stealing mine? - LePetomane

I wonder if the price was low because it's chambered for 3.5" shells? Either way, you got yourself a great deal.

The price was low because he paid a low price for it, I got the deal because I buy minimum a gun a month from him, just a little customer appreciation. It has a 3.5" chamber but will still shoot the 2 3/4" and 3" shells. He has never given me such a great deal and I don't expect it either, but I sure do appreciate it! :D
