If you enjoy the AR platform, dont half ass it, buy a Daniel Defense, Lewis Machine, or if ur lucky to find a Sabre Defense XR , spend the extra, because everyone builds and adds to their ar, if u add to a POS all you have is a polished turd.

You don't have to drop $2K to get a reliable, accurate AR, That's been proven time and time again. Yes the brands you mention are good, but so are many others. To say anything else is a POS is flat out mis-guided and untrue.   That's like saying anything but a Les Baer or Kimber 1911 is a POS. I run through thousands of rounds a year in competition with my home built AR's that cost me a third of any of the brands you mentioned with no problems what so ever. In fact just did a multi-gun last weekend without a single malf of any kind, better than I can say for a lot of the high end brands.

If you think I'm full of it just come on over to Morris next summer for the 3rd annual Mid-America AR Challenge.http://morrisrifleclub.webs.com/midamericaarchallenge.htm I'll be happy to prove it.

I'd call BS on you Chris, but you shoot really well with your polished turd. Looking forward to bringing my polished turd out to Morris again next summer. Be sure to let me know when the coyote warmup is.

Yo Steve. Seems we both get around these crazy forums

Yea, It's kind of funny, folks will se me out shooting one of my turds and notice the 1/2" 100 yard groups. They'll ask "what brand is that".....I can only reply "what part"

I don't know if we're going to make the Coyote Warmup this year. We just got our new building finnished at the 400 yard line, but we don't have the benches in it yet. Good news is, we'll be shooting in the shade (and out of the rain) for next years AR Challenge. We'll also have 6 benches to work with instead of just two.

We just keep plugging away at the range making improvements here and there when we can. Hoping to hit it hard next spring, to see what we can do to add a couple short range bays. My plan is to get to where we can host some bigger 3-Gun and action shooting stuff.

Can't wait to see the improvements.
And to stay on topic, Element has plenty of mid-range to high end stuff. They are all shooters there.
