Make a price list a part of the final judging. No spending limit, but make it known how much was spent to get the "rifle" (and I use that term loosely

) to its uh, current condition.
Seems like a fair way to go without excluding anybody, at least in my mind.
Too many "rules" take all the fun out of things like this. Why not just bubba the **** out of an otherwise perfectly good rifle, get together and shoot them, put them through their paces, and have a vote where you must cast one vote and it cant be for your own gun?
We could even open it up to the forum.
Why bog this down with a novel sized rule book?
that's what i was thinking. we could do a vote amongst competitors. can't vote for yourself (and let's be fair, gents, no voting for your best bud because he's your best bud)
then we could also open a thread and do a poll. on the poll, the competitors would have two pics of thier mosin-contraption, a breif description, and a cost list. those three things would be what the polling would go on, and have the entrants be unnamed to those that didn't make it. we'll give it two or three days of polling, and hope that the thread doesn't turn into an argument!
saying that guns kill people is like saying that spoons made Rosie O'Donnell fat.
if God wanted us to drink whiskey, he would have given us stomaches
