we will have the Karkov Kup Kommittee vote on it. But that sounds good to me.

Leave the gun choice up to the kontestant? As long as it's a commie gun

True, but we are tainting the OP's surgery thread in the process. I say if you want to continue the discussion, move it to a seperate thread.

OP..... Olga looks like she's coming along..... I'd really like the details of how the rebarreling/rechambering/nightmareish frankensteining goes. :D

I agree with trying to keep this on topic. This is a hospital dang it. Lol.,

Well I plan on documenting the process completely. Pictures and detailed notes. I will be doing this all on my own. Most of the machining will be done at work on the manual lathe and mill. Except for the engraving on the barrel. That will be done on a cnc mill. Maybe I will have you come to my shop on a saturday to witness me doing some work on the barrel so I don't get accused of any foul play.

I will be hopefully taking the old barrel off the receiver today. I have my work christmas party at 11. Hoping we get another nice bonus today. The one I got last month was gone in record time. I want to buy some additional items for Olga.

I think I am going to have to go to my dads shop in his garage and get his Omniturn lathe running again. I think that it will be much easier to just write a program for the threads than to do it manually.

does your dad have a collet big enough for a bull barrel? i agree that it would be easier to knock the singlepoint out on his Omni-Turn, but if you do, you should probably extend the offer to the rest of us (or see if your old-man would be cool with a bunch of yokels comin to his place)

First things first hippy. First I have to see if it will even run. He has not had it running for about a year. I know some circuits are bad. If I can get it going I will see if he would allow a couple others to do some work. I think he would be ok with it as long as people chop in some green for tooling and such. But first things first. Let me deal with him. Don't go texting him about it yet. I have ways of making him compliant. I got tons of dirt on old balls.
