ordered one today

been looking to get a 10/22 for a while, Dave at DK Mags showed me this last week and I knew I had to get one. Stopped in today and ordered one. It will be in next week, I can't wait. this is my first firearm purchased. I can't wait to get it to a range and see how it shoots.

I am going to need a scope for it, any suggestions?

That looks like the exact same folding stock I put on my 870 shotty........I hate it, the folding devise on the left side is so big it digs into your thumb. Mine has to go.
Burnouts, big horsepower, and things that go bang!

Congrats and cool looking gun! You can't go wrong with a 10/22. I haven't had very good luck with the aftermarket extended mags from Butler Creek or Ramline but I want to pick up the new one Ruger has and see how that does. Good luck and have fun!

if you feel you NEED a scope on a 10/22 you don't need a very expensive one to be really honest. i've put several $35 simmons 4X33 scopes on everything from 22cal to 30-30 to 44 mag carbines and have been really impressed with them for the money. not what i would call hunting quality, but for the range and during the day they're fine for runnin aroudn the farm field. you can get 'em at fleet farm for under $40.

i've put the new redfield scopes on a coupel of my deer rifles and i have been really impressed with the performance forth eprice point. they're not the cheapest ont he shelf but they're not junk. very nice feel and design, good clarity at the higher magnification and they run circles over the simmons/tasco/barska **** out there.

if you're itchin to shoot in practialy darkness at the wee hours of the morning a leupold VX-1 33mm can be had pretty cheaply. and by cheaply, i mean for alomst as much as you paid for your gun

If it was me I'd get this one. In fact I did. I mounted it in a S&W 15-22. It's Aimpoint micro sized at a fraction of the cost. I also think it would look pretty cool on that rifle...

I've got a Bushnell Holosight sitting in the closet. Too lazy to see what they go for these days, so shoot me an offer if you want it.

Only number I can find on it is "417389". I did a quick Google search on that and didn't come up with anything.
It uses "N" batteries and has a non-replaceable circle-dot reticle.

Check out primary arms. They make an Aimpoint micro clone that seems to be pretty well received.

Everything you need to know to be successful in the military: Always have an Assault element,Support element and a Security element. Leadership Decisions: Will it accomplish the Mission? Is it morally and ethically correct? How will it affect your men?
