I haven't done squat so far. Just a lot of talk. I'm still in though.

You're not the only... I should get my butt in gear.

Tim did some tinkering tonight. We just gotta coordinate a time when I can go to the shop with him to work on them both. Then I can use the big tools. Hopefully keep all my digits.

Progress was made last night on the gal friends Mosin. I made sure to take some pictures of class time, she is a quick teach.

Boring out the bolt to remove the 2 steps inside and reduce the firing pin from .103 to something smaller

Machining down the plug to be pressed into the bolt then welded over.

I was a bone head and forgot to take step by step pictures of the work we did. The bolt face is now welded up (the plug gets welded in as part of the face build up. I will get some pictures of that next time I am at the shop.

I wish I had known about this before the cut-off. My Mosin is pretty Bubba'd up but there a couple more changes in the works.

One more for the build off. I figure I might actually shot it every once and awhile if it was a little more interesting.

I wish I saw this thread sooner, I've been considering bubbafying my mosin since I picked it up in January.
This gives me the excuse to make my mosin "tacticool" 8-)
