Another thing I've seen about the KSG is it just loves to jam up. I was watching a Nutnfancy (yea I know, but I was more interested in the KSG than his blabbering) video and the Kel-Tec rep who was running with them couldn't even get the thing to run reliably.

I'll stick to the Ithaca 37....

I have first hand experience with the Utas-15. My buddy new the dealer and got the only on in MN as of September this year. It is designed by a company that is a sister company to smith and western. Looks like something striaght out of an Arnold schwarzenegger movie. Looks and feels amazing.

First off the kel tec is an ok company they have innovative designs. It the reliability is questionable. They run ok when clean but jam like no other when dirty from my experience with a number of them, hince why they are currently re doing there tooling.

In my opinion the utas is a stage up from the ksg. It feeds from the top and has a 14+1 capacity (kel tec is 12+1). It also has a selector switch so instead of switching back and forth between the two shell mags it can also be switched to one side only. You could put bird shot in one side and buck shot in the other and select the side you want or switch back in forth.

I'm very impressed with the reliability out of the box it took 500-600 rounds of shot gun before its first jam. Ultimate zombie gun. It was easy to shoot with bird shot, but had some definite kick with the 000 buck shot.

The gun will be sold somewhere between $1250-1700 because of the short supply similiar to the ksg but a few hundred dollars more. For defensive shotgun and a whole lot of fun I recommend it. I may get one in the future.
