AK47 in the cities?

Postby TiltMaster84 on Fri Dec 21, 2012 6:20 pm

So I know from what I hear on the forums that it's impossible to find any AR's for sale at any of the local gun stores. Anyone see any reasonable priced AK47's anywhere?

Where and when did you see some? I agree, $600-$700 is a lot for an AK, wish I would of bought one a few years back when they were $200-$300. I'm going to check out FF in Oakdale, but wondering if there is anywhere else to look, well besides Bill's. I know bill's loves to raise prices! I bought an FN FS2000 at Arnzen for like $1800 and Bills was asking for $2500, and that's before this week!

Unfortunately 2 weeks ago doesn't mean much with the craziness going on right now....

Nope, I don't think we never had any version over two grand.

We did have some underfolders for 549.00 however, I can drop you a line if I see more!

The Rogers Cabelas had 2 Century Romanian WASR AKs this afternoon. $599 each. Too rich for my blood.

The BP FF still had a few VEPR AKs a little while ago. @ 8ish? I think they go for 600-700. Heavy, but the most sturdy built AK you can get.

just recieved 8 bulgy 74 kits from whatacountry.com $283 each with new barrels, recievers from nodak $93 each and some other mis parts and im sitting pretty. i also got 10 romy/maadi kits 5 each from cole dist via GB for $169. no barrels and a hella more than you could get them for 2 years ago but what are gona do. I got into those recievers back in the day when no dak was pumpin them out for 40 bucks. My advice is jump on board the parts kits if you can... its not rocket science putting them back together but it does take some skill. At least you will have the parts in your possesion with a couple days of ordering if something does go down. It boils down to what you think is a good deal... When it comes to the AK market i think uncle sam could really shut it down alot faster then the AR market. Just my 2 cents...

I understand your point and appreciate the information, but unfortunately 2 weeks ago everyone had AR's and AK's. The reason for this post is to avoid calling and driving to every store in or around the cities.
