Bingo -- its the bimetal jacket, plus a hotter burning powder...spikes the pressure right off the bat and will quite literally burn out the throat.

My bad, you're right. I meant bi-metal, not steel core, like a green tip. Dyslexic moment on my part, I flipped them around for some reason.
