I discovered that I want to just build a custom 10/22 I pick out all the parts for and then put together myself.
I'd leave the factory 10/22 alone and keep it stock. Maybe a buffer or extended mag release at most. I just hate having a bunch of stock parts left over I have to keep around because I don't want to get rid of them if I ever need them for some reason.
Ah, but the 10-22, even the models with their "target" trigger desperately
wants a tigger upgrade and
really benefits from it. For $105 (Kidd), it's probably the best investment you can make in upgrading the performance of a 10-22.
I note that Kidd sells a stripped Ruger polymer trigger guard (includes safety) for $35 for those thst want to upgrade from their aluminum version.
