I've been looking for a Mega billet lower. I can't even find one that's not the ambi version.

Any tips?

Just got lucky. Found it at riflegear.com. It was the ambi. Why don't you want the ambi? Now I'm in search of the billet upper.

The ambi costs more and I'd rather have it look more regular because I want to use it on a CMP Service Rifle.

I like it because of the nice magazine well. Mega's logo looks decent and will be easy to color fill.

I've seen a lot of people raving about them, so I decided it would be great for my latest build.

I guess that means I got the second  Nice chatting with you and I'm interested in seeing the STD in action.

I like the SWS lower a lot. My only complaint is not having a LPK on standby and my lack of willingness to pay $100+ for one, but that's not anyones fault but my own.

Threw a DPMS upper I have on the SWS to see how it fits. I'm very impressed with theses lowers. Gotta PSA upper on the way for it, still searching for a Mega billet upper...

Got my hands on a boberg today at Bill's South - 60-80 tool's to make (my butt!) and they turned out like poop. I give them 6 months max (and that's being generous) before they start seeing bolt catch pin boss failures.

Jordan and Jon smoked them. Seriously - the SWS is a better built unit, bar none.

Just a heads up, I'll have Jon working on the matching upper before ya know it... ;)

:o  :? 8-) :didntdoit:

I haven't seen the Boberg yet, but thanks for the quick and to the point comparison! We've really worked our asses off to make this happen. So we really appreciate the support! Thank you :)

Signs that you made it, a part you sell ends up on Armslist. Congrats guys! Also, I'm going to have to start saving my pennies to buy one this summer.

Keep me informed. I am not close to being done building more rifles, building is almost as fun as shooting them. Got three builds going now!

Not impressed with the fit and finish of the Bobergs. there's a huge step between the upper and lower.

Just put mine together with PSA lpk last night. Went together very nicely. Test fitted a couple of uppers and both had a nice fit. Definitely a good product! Now if I can just get rid of that darn gritty trigger and find some JP springs!
