Beretta CX4 or not??!!??

Postby tenmilmag on Thu Sep 26, 2013 3:34 pm

So recently I assisted my cousin in purchasing a Ruger PC9 he just had to have. And now I kinda am wanting a semi long 9mm carbine myself. The Berreta CX4 is very interesting but pricey. Any and all thoughts and opinions would greatly be appreciated this gun was recently mentioned in another thread and has me interested...

I have a CX4 in .40 that I bought in 2009. It is a great little shooter. I really enjoy that one.

This is the gun I bought that got me back into shooting.... get one :)

A Camp Carbine is also nice, if you can find one. I also really love my Uzi. 9mm carbines are too much fun.

I have one in 9mm, one of my favorites to shoot. Others that I bring shooting all walk away saying they want to buy one. :P

I have one that I never shoot. My son won't let me sell it. It's a good shooter though.

I am a big fan of the PC9. They are heavy, but a better trigger than the Camp 9. Sub2000 is a fun gun too. For the price of a Beretta, you may be able to get two carbines.

Yup save some coin if it isn't a"must have" and buy a hi point 995 ts... It's the little carbine that could. I've run all kind of **** through her no issues.I also second the sub 2000.

That's like someone asking if they should get one of those new Challengers, then you recomending they get a Kia Sportage.

I've got a 995TS and it's a great gun. Accurate out to 100 yards even with me shooting it. Never a problem with it but if something does go wrong, EVER, just send it in and they fix it for free plus send it back with free stuff.

Well, I have a Hi-Point 995TS and a Kia Sportage, so I've got it all wrapped up.

If the "need" for a pistol caliber carbine is strictly as a fun gun, the Hi-Point fits the bill. It eats any ammo I feed it, has numerous rails for attaching otherwise impractical toys, and then there's that whole warranty thing. Other than being heavy and relying on ProMags for capacity over ten rounds, I have yet to come up with any negatives.

I don't have a ton of experience with them but the Just Right Carbine's always catch my eye.

I am considering either the CX4 in 9mm or else a Kel-Tec sub 2000. Biggy because either one of them can be had to use the same magazine as my pistol.
