I don't know anything about the site selling these but a poly lower for $30 seems like a decent way to take a chance on a store.

Payment for my evil black rifle was received on Monday, but due to a business trip, I had the seller hold off on shipping until next Monday. It's killing me inside to have to wait even longer, but I think it will be worth it. Pics in a week or so...

That might have been a good idea. I justified it by not buying myself a new tv :D

Does that work even if one hadn't contemplated a new television? :?

I don't see why not. OMG! I can buy a few more since I just now decided not to buy a heated toilet seat.

If you've already bought that heated toilet seat... I'll buy it from you. Those things are harder to find than .22LR ammo!

I ended up ordering the $499 kit w/ .22 conversion too yesterday along with a PSA blem lower for $49. Will help fill out the black friday sale safe I picked up at Menards quite nicely. Safe + AR for less than my AR budget. Happy birthday to me!

Ok, just over 2 weeks and I finally have my black rifle from Black Rifle Friday. Here it is:

Image

- Barnard P action and trigger
- Krieger 30" 1-in-13" .298/.3075 barrel, Medium Palma contour, 2011 Fullbore team chamber
- Robertson Composites H&H stock
- Phoenix Precision rear sight
- Stallings Machine RightSight front with Fullbore base

All gunsmithing done by Alan Warner at Warner Tool Co. The bedding work is unbelievable, probably the best I've seen.

Will try it out next weekend.....

Dang Eric, you know you have to work that bolt manually between every shot right?

Nadine, Miss Maddie Ross and I are jealous.
I will never apologize for being an American.

Haha yeah, but it's a single shot, so at least I don't have to try to do it fast! I really like the stock, the forearm is almost exactly the same dimensions as my smallbore rifle, which is the most comfortable rifle I own. If I like it as much as I think I will, I'll most likely end up selling my Eliseo tube stock.

Welcome to PSA. The home of good deals but horrible customer service.
