My PSA Blems

Postby Mike_Ert on Sun Dec 08, 2013 3:40 pm

Here are my PSA Blem lowers I ordered on Thanksgiving. They arrived at my FFL 8 days later. At the price of $50 a piece, I got two.

Granted I am new to the AR platform and this will be my first build but, I certainly could not find anything wrong with them. Also, they have sequential serial numbers...

A hell of a deal for $50.

I most likely will go with a rifle kit from PSA as well.

I was leaning towards this...

PTAC YHM Diamond 16" 5.56mm M4 Profile 1:7" BLACKHAWK! Rifle Kit

Barrel Length 16"
5.56 Nato Chamber
1 in 7" twist
M4 Profile Barrel
.750" Gas Block Diameter
M4 Feedramps
Forged Upper
T-marks
AR-15 Bolt Carrier
8620 Magnetic Particle Inspected Bolt
YHM Diamond Rifle Length Rail
BLACKHAWK! Lower Build Kit

But in all honesty I need to do a lot more research.

In regards to ammo...

I am one of those pick up a box here and there vs dropping $500+ at one time. I would like to buy brass that would be a good candidate for reloading. Will the Federal XM193F at FF fit the bill?

My first kits will arrive tomorrow (they came Thurs and Fri and I couldn't be here to sign). I am new also, and got this ammo and plan to keep the brass.

2 weeks ago I orders the Magpul MOE lower build kit. It is supposed to ship out tomorrow.

Then tonight, this came up "PSA 16" M4 SS12G2 Rifle Kit". So I order it as well as a strikefire.

I will throw this upper on the magpul kit i previously ordered. I will build out the other lower with the PSA gear from the rifle kit while I figure out what to do with it.

Well I finally got my kit.

Any advice on where I can go to zero my red dot? I am in the south west metro, but will happily travel.

I just build my PSA Blemish lower with a PSA complete lower build kit tonight I bought from my boss. He was going to build another AR-15, but decided to purchase optics for his and his wife's AR-15. I bought the lower, and parts kit for $123.

20 minutes later...
