Gun available in different calibers- which would you pick?

I recently signed up for a free online drawing to win a Beretta ARX 100*. While I'm not going to lose sleep over my chances of winning, it did make me wonder. It's a modular design that can be customized for different calibers: 5.52 NATO, 5.45 Soviet, 6.8 Remington SPC, and 7.62x39 Soviet. What caliber would you choose and why? I would lean toward the 7.62x39, but obviously people have their favorites.

*They said ARX 160, but I presume they mean the civvie version.

I would choose 7.62x39 to make it useful as a deer hunting rifle, and to provide more "punch" when needed by circumstances.

As a complete rifle noob, I have a question: wouldn't the 6.8 SPC option also achieve those goals? (Not trying to start any sort of argument; I'm just looking to expand my knowledge.)

6.8 would work for deer but I'd go 7.62X39 for the cheap steel cased ammo, the best firearm is one you actually shoot and shoot frequently.

That's a fair point. I wonder, are the Beretta barrels interchangeable the way AR uppers are? Is it possible to get the 5.56 one for 3-gun and "economical" practice and be able to swap to a 6.8 SPC or 300BLK barrel for hunting?

It doesn't look like it would be a good candidate for 3gun. It is big and it looks heavy and you can't get your support arm fully extended like most 3gunners shoot. YMMV.

Despite having the silhouette somewhat reminiscent of a pregnant largemouth bass, the Beretta feels light and fast, and is incredibly well balanced
