Why all the hate on the 930JM, mine has run like a champ. I do understand there have been a fair share of lemons - but at the price point I think it's a good deal.

In fairness my 930 also runs great, I'm just having issues with mine sorting out slugs. I'll sell you my 930 for 500 if you are interested.

I had issues with Slugs not going POA, but then ran across B&P's. Like shooting big ol marshmallows and POA=POI to 100 yards.

However, I have see just about as many positive as negative and I would rather just go with a more top of the line gun. Value may be important, but I think I will be able to afford the nice benelli regardless. Now for the new option, who has experience with the new vinci? I thought they were butt ugly guns until I started looking at how they are put together and work, it looks like a pretty slick bolt. And I saw a few of these at the 3 gun this past weekend. Though I did see a very good looking m2(I think) with wood furniture...

Payne switched to a Vinci from an M2 this year. I'm sure he could give you a could run down on how each has been for him.

I wouldn't go too stir crazy about it really. Any of the more popular models will serve you well and until you get trigger time on each it'll be pretty hard to tell what the absolute best is for you.Trevor uses a 930 that seems to jam quite a bit yet still blazes. The top 5 shooters from 3gun last weekend ran an M1, an SLP, a Vinci, an M2 and an SLP. Looking at the last Tac Shotgun it was 2 Vinci's, 2 SLPs, a M3000, an A5 and a M2 in the top 7. I'd give you a run down of Nordic but I'm not as familiar with what all those pros shoot. The point is there's lots of diversity out there but if the M2 is what you want go for it!

I'm not one to normally get too hung up on looks over function when it comes to guns, but the Vinci IMHO really is about as butt ugly as they get. The wood stocked M2 you saw was probably my buddy's (it matches the wood grips on his Shadow. I always give him crap for having the prettiest gear in 3-gun, but it does look nice.

The Stoeger M3000 for the money may be worth a shot. I really want a semi auto in the collection but I can't justify $1000 for a shotgun.

Keep in mind it's an M2 American. Those sold new 3-400 under what a normal M2 did.

It looks like Arnzen has exactly one, but I like shopping around for the best price so where else can I look? Mostly online, because I think I have checked everywhere else locally. That and I am very skeptical that Arnzen will still have the gun by the time that I am ready to actually buy in the next couple of weeks.

If you don't have the money today, put it on layaway. If that's not your thing I'm sure they will get another 21" M2 in by the time you are ready.

Did you talk to Mark about the Hawkeye M2? As others suggested it's a hell of a deal for a 3gun/TacShotgun ready rig...
