I'm not sure but there is something printed in or engraved somewhere that suggests otherwise isn't there?
be careful about having rounds in the Mags you even keep in the same compartment as the weapon much less in it, during transportations?

Yes, I wouldn't transport that way as it is now over legal pistol length.

Several Law parts for DI AR are not used in piston gun. The no folded fire warning applies for ARs with buffers. The Sig originally comes with a plate over the upper rear. It is removed to add brace w/tube. So I know it is okay to have the rear hole open. I'm 99% sure it is okay to fire folded. If pressure was an issue, I would think the brace tube would be sealed at the front.

The LAW site states for DI and piston platforms. But the instructions with hinge give no piston direction.

Just ordered a budget upper from PSA for another AR15 build.

Image

PSA 16" Mid-length Freedom Stainless Steel 1/7 Dissipator - Without BCG or Charging Handle

QUICK OVERVIEW
16" Barrel Length
.750" Gas Block Diameter
Mid-length Gas System
416 Stainless Steel Barrel
5.56mm NATO Chamber
1 in 7" Twist Rate
M4 Feed ramps
A2 Flash Hider
7075 Forged Upper Receiver
T-Marks

No BCG or Charging handle

SKU: 43633

Normally sells for $359.99, but I got it for $209.99 plus shipping. I already have a charging handle. Going to order a bolt carrier group from BCM next pay check. Should be a good rifle to plink with.

Also ordered a Magpul MOE rifle hand guard for the upper.

Ordered a YHM Phantom comp/flash hider for the PSA upper, and a Wilson Combat Semi Auto BCG. They had them on sale for only $98.57. Normally $169.99. Can't wait to get everything!

I'd like to think my black rifle is the total opposite of evil, but anyways, here's a crappy cell pic of my Stag model 2.

Ordered a rear sight for my dissipator AR15. Going with the K.I.S.S. rifle theme.

Here is how the rifle is currently without the sight. It's the last part of the puzzle for the rifle...

Bad news is my SPR clone that I just finished is no more. Good news is I swapped it's upper for one I have lusted after since they came out. The AAC 300BLK 9" w/ URX3 rail. Found some cheap, for the caliber, remanufactued ammo from PSA which I hope is decent range stuff. I'm thinking the TR24 looks ungainly. May have to go with red dot.

Usual incompetent photography.

Not a true black gun, but that's the look I was going for. Has a number of AR15 parts.

Ruger Law Enforcement model 5832. Factory installed Amega Scout rail. 16in stainless threaded barrel. Single stage break
Butler creek folder customized for a full lower rail. Lower rail is custom machined correct angle against top rail.
MOE foregrip and Ruger folding bipod.
Sightmark Pro Red-dot sight with laser.

Shoots consistantly under 2MOA.

I wasn't seriously considering one of these Beretta ARX100s until I read some good reviews of it and got a chance to handle one. It feels like a toy, but in a good way. Super light, and handles nicely, despite the pregnant "bulge" in the area of the magazine well.

And I actually got this Tavor a few months ago, but haven't been around in a while.
