The lower looks metric. Does the rear sight flip up?
Men may argue forever on what wins their wars, and welter in cons and pros, and seek for the answer at history's doors, but the man with the rifle knows.

Skorpion EVO3. I put it here instead of in the pistol thread because I intend to title the receiver and get a proper stock for it.

Broke down and bought an Anderson upper and lower for the next black rifle build. No pics yet, just had neck fusion surgery Thursday morning and can't drive to the LGS to pick them up. Thinking a 6.5 Grendel build...

Just finished throwing this together, quick pic taken before it got dark. Now, to get it to a range...

My B5 adjustable stock was just too wide for my face. I replaced it with a fixed Magpul MOE carbine stock.

Is that a SMOS SM50 AR lower? Nice rifle.

Yep. Didn't want a mag well making it look ugly so spent the money for this. Complements the rifle. Thanks for the compliment. Have about 2200 bucks invested in this build including a SWFA 20X42 scope. Not bad for getting into 50 BMG. I need to update that photo.

I'm a fan of SMOS stuff.

Funny story, when I ordered the lower for this rifle, they mistakenly sent one of those SM50 lowers to my FFL. I came real close to keeping it. They are very nice bolt lowers, indeed.

Nice rifle. What caliber is that? Barrel length? You should have kept it and built a 50 BMG. Sucks finding a place to shoot but its a blast (pun intended) to shoot when I do get the chance.

If I'd already had an SBR when it came, I would have. This lower was intended from the start to be an SBR build. And if we're actually going to get suppressors now, I'll be building a 300 BLK upper for it too.

But yeah, lack of places to shoot is definitely a bummer with 50 BMG.

Nice. I have a 308 in a 10.5 inch barrel but sig brace is on it now. Finally received my packet to SBR it when I get time. No hurry giving up 200 bucks.
