When the trigger is pulled the poi for 300WM or 6.5 grendal is at the heart. The deer jumps. It takes 30 seconds for that bullet to hit its new poi. No longer in the heart. Your telling me that a grendal will have same percentage of kill then 300WM? Negative ghost rider. Don't need to post stats on that. That is obvious.

Any hunter taking deer at extended ranges is an unethical hunter. My opinion.

How far are we shooting when something travelling half mile per second travels 30 seconds?

You are bringing up the 400 plus. You must not shoot long range.
Look at last column. That's time of flight. This is my dads stock Remington 300WM.

You said 30 seconds.

123 ELDm is what is currently in my BAE and it has 0.540 seconds TOF vs 0.486. You are saying 0.054 seconds is the reason a Grendel is insufficient?

I've had deer jump when bow hunting but not had them anticipate my 12 gauge slug going much slower than the Grendel.

But come on 0.054 seconds?

My scenario is still valid. Time of flight does matter. Along with deer jump.
You can comment that.

I'm glad I can laugh at myself. 30 seconds THATS an Unethical shot. Lol

I'm not seeing enough time of flight difference for this to enter the discussion.

This scenario happens often were the deer will move. Now at 100 yards not as big of an issue. 400 plus. Tof, lost energy, wind. etc factors in.

Does writing 'Murica and bald eagles over and over count?

Knock yourself out.

And it jumps because of what exactly?

The speed of sound is 1125 fps

400 yards is 1200 feet so it takes roughly 1 second for the sound to get there. It only takes a half second for the bullet.

Why does it matter why it jumps. Lol. Lol.

Deer jumps because it sees a pretty lil doe. Wants to walk/run to her. To get lil something something

Your not answering my question.
Also it's 400 plus yards. 500 600 700. That you have referenced

You are saying 300WM has a better percentage of quick kill because it's 0.05 seconds faster to the target. I say it's insignificant.

What is your question?

Can you Please read my post again. I laid it out. Aside the f up on time posted. Poi is No Longer in the heart/lung. Meaning instant kill with any caliber.

It really is time for me to move on. If we can't read each other's post and keep an open mind the debate is pointless. Lol. Most of them are pointless.

Thanks for debate

I read it, what rifle or caliber you use has no bearing on what the deer does. The variable here, that we are discussing, is caliber.
