AR Recoil pad

Postby BuckKlier on Fri Sep 07, 2018 8:17 pm

I put together a 450 Bushmaster AR, and I'm trying to find a good recoil pad for a fixed stock AR, but I'm having no luck. Anybody know where I can get one?

Maybe try a different approach. I've had good success with adjustable gas block and muzzle brake. Also, I've noticed that simple ctr stock hugs my shoulder better than fancier stocks and gives me less perceived recoil.

But, take that with grain of salt as I've only worked with .223 and .308.

KICK EEZ AR-15 RECOIL PAD A1 & A2 STOCKS....................is about it out there.
I cannot recommend them, as I have never used one.
I do not have a P-pad on my 458 SOCOM, but that is just my preference...........YMMV

If it is a fixed stock a slip on rubber pad should work.

I found one from KICK EEZ got it from Midway, It is supposed to be pre-fit, Ha!, 1/4" too wide just a tad short. Thankfully I have a upright belt sander.

The real question is... which component is incorrect? Perhaps it is pre-fit and your stock is out of spec.

Fits the same way on 3 other stocks.
