There is only one problem with my Grendel upper....when Alexander Arms built it, they permanently attached the handguard. One has to destroy the handguard in order to get it off. I'm not sure I really want to go that route at this point in time. I know....who in their right mind would do that? I didn't find that out until I owned it.
I figured you could build a new one, either SBR or pistol. Never expected you to disassemble your current rifle.
If you had a 12" grendel SBR, I doubt you'd hunt with your 24" again.
