There is only one problem with my Grendel upper....when Alexander Arms built it, they permanently attached the handguard. One has to destroy the handguard in order to get it off. I'm not sure I really want to go that route at this point in time. I know....who in their right mind would do that? I didn't find that out until I owned it.

I figured you could build a new one, either SBR or pistol. Never expected you to disassemble your current rifle.

If you had a 12" grendel SBR, I doubt you'd hunt with your 24" again.

Must be, I have three 18’s

If I was going to hunt though I’d finish one of my 12’s and hunt with a suppressed SBR.

I got 2323 fps out of my 12.5 using 8208. Unfortunately had to send the upper back as couldn’t group for crap with commercial or hand loads. Faxon match barrel.
