Actual restoration never destroys the value of an antique. What destroys the value are changes which are not accurate to antique in question.
Adding replacement parts should be fine as long as you don't damage or alter the existing firearm components. It would also help if any patina they had matched the current condition of your rifle.
You should be able to find a ton of resources to repair this rifle:
