.. typically wears a black GI sling and nothing else. Purpose built for light field carry and short-midrange shooting with a sling standing/sitting or prone (thus the short profile 20 round magazines & free float tube with sling stud versus traditional FSB front loop to avoid POI shifts when I sling up tight). I assembled the lower from stripped + parts and started with a PSA Dissy upper on which I had to remove + reinstall the gas block, front sight and flash hider to install the new barrel nut that comes with the free float tube. There's about a 1/16" gap between the front sight assembly and the end of the tube that prevents contact during barrel whip from a shot. The barrel has a narrower contour between the gas block and barrel extension to save weight.
