Maybe it's a bad habit but all of my target and hunting rifles are set-up so when I raise that rifle to my shoulder I get a clean and clear target picture. my garage wall has enough used targets with some really close groups,certainly not those 5 rounds that a dime will cover as posted on this forum on a regular basis but decent enough. there are also a few less plains game in Sa using that same method. I may have to change my way to fit that particular Rifle as all my other Rifles are much larger calibers but I'll wait and see. always looking to learn some new tricks

If I shot nose to charging handle I would get scope eye, besides my neck no longer bends like that so I shoot how it is comfortable for ME

Anubody who takes a brand new untested AR set-up and sets it up to shoot nose to handle without test firing ahead of time watchs to many Hollywood movies or plays to many Video Games,,Just of course is just my Opinion I could be wrong,, to quote Dennis Miller

This is exactly the point of all of the cantilever scope rings and mounts on the market for AR's. If you would get "scope eye" from shooting nose to charge handle, your scope is not in the right place.

That said, if you have a physical condition like a neck problem you will have to make some compromises.
