Shot my best score at skeet today. 23/25

Postby stesch_s10 on Mon Aug 06, 2012 8:45 pm

I've been shooting skeet every Monday for 3 months now. I wish I could shoot more but there is no available spots any other time. I've been shooting since I was 13 at my grandpas place as well.

After many attempts and a few 22/25 I finally reached a 23/25. Hopefully before the cold hits I can hit a 25/25. Just thought I'd share my excitement.

I'm no Kim Rhode either.

Nice! I started skeet like a month or so ago. My best is a 22, so much more fun than trap

never shot trap before. Looks easy and sounds easy from stories of guys shooting 300 straight 500 straight.. But I've never shot it before.

It is easy...for the first few rounds...after that you're hooked and it gets in your head. Its not as easy as you make it out to be, i guarantee you that 8-) .

Congrats. That's awesome shooting.

As far as trap concerns (my poison, I'll admit), it's fairly easy for a dedicated shooter to acquire the skills to hit each possible shot. The challenge is consistency, never to anticipate a shot, emptying your mind and let the great spirit make the shot for you. It's like yoga, but louder and cooler.

Oh, don't believe a trapshooters' score until you actually see him/her shoot it. We lie like east coast democrats :D
I have a Colt Python and you don't so what do I care...
